The slot machines are the level's main attraction, where three Jackpots in a row pay big while a Robotnik costs rings, without ever killing the player since the counter never drops below zero. At the end of Act 2, the Egg Claw flies over the arena and drops bombs: eight hits finish it off.

Sonic, the Pinball
The level's gameplay is directly inspired by pinball: by curling into a ball, Sonic (or Tails) bounces like a pinball between bumpers, springs, paddles, and targets. Sometimes you have to let yourself be propelled from one bounce to another to progress — a real playground.

The Slot Machines
The zone's main attraction: the slot machines. You stop the reels to align symbols (Sonic, Tails, ring, BAR, Jackpot… or Robotnik). Aligning three Jackpots earns big; aligning Robotnik, on the contrary, makes you lose rings. Rest assured: it's impossible to die this way, the counter never drops below zero.
The End-of-Zone Boss
At the end of Act 2, Eggman awaits you in a machine nicknamed the "Egg Claw" (or "Catch Eggman" depending on the version): a saucer equipped with electrified claws that hovers over the pinball arena and drops bombs. Like the other bosses in the game, you need to hit him eight times.
A Cult Jazz Music
It's impossible to talk about Casino Night without mentioning its jazzy music (brass and piano), composed by Masato Nakamura, the author of the entire Sonic 2 soundtrack. A theme that perfectly matches the glittering atmosphere of the level.
