BioWare's RPG Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood treats its forty Chao as equippable bonuses tucked away in a menu rather than raised in a garden you can visit. Choopaloo, recognisable by his orange skin, purple extremities, green eyes, light blue wings and blue head sphere, advertises an experience gain that increases over three levels. Except that the effect is bugged: the XP earned after a battle stays exactly the same. Reaching the maximum rank still requires two wireless trades with two different players. The game hides a hundred eggs for thirty-nine Chao, whose hatching depends on playing time and chance.

What is Choopaloo?

In Sonic Chronicles, Chaos function as equippable bonuses stored in the Chao Garden (a menu, not a playable area). The game contains a total of 40 obtainable Chaos. Choopaloo is one of these Chaos and stands out for its description which is supposed to be linked to experience. Be careful, however: in the game, this effect is bugged and does not actually increase XP once the Chao is equipped.
