Vector made his first appearance in Knuckles' Chaotix in 1995 (Sega 32X). He was then a simple supporting character. His second appearance came in Sonic Heroes (2003), where he became a character in his own right , reintroduced as the eccentric leader of the Chaotix Detective Agency.
