A Chase Without a Boss
A rare particularity: Sky Chase is the only zone in all of Sonic 2 without any boss (or mini-boss). It's a pure chase: Sonic and Tails track Eggman's flying fortress, and the zone leads directly to Wing Fortress, where the first confrontation awaits them.
