Sticks the Badger is a character introduced in the Sonic Boom spin-off series. Sticks is one of the few original heroines to have appeared only in a parallel universe, yet has left a deep mark on the imagination of fans.
Origin and first appearance
Sticks made his first appearance in 2014 in the animated series Sonic Boom , broadcast in the United States on Cartoon Network and in France on Gulli. Designed to bring an unpredictable touch to Team Sonic, he was then integrated into the games Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric (Wii U), Shattered Crystal (3DS) and Fire & Ice .
Although Sticks is not part of the main canon, Sega promotes her as a heroine in her own right . She is also the first original female protagonist since Cream the Rabbit in 2002.
